The Medical Recruitment and Retention Fund assists with the recruitment and retention of doctors and professional medical staff. This fund helps to ensure there is an adequate future supply of physicians and allied professionals within our community. It also encourages the retention of those that currently practice at the Howard Mutual Medical Centre.
We offer a welcoming, well-equipped office and medical building with space for multiple doctors and nurse practitioners. This modern building includes a large reception area, space for visiting specialists and amenities for physicians and staff such as kitchen, workout room, showers, and a quiet room.
We offer support to existing physicians and staff to better serve their patients by purchasing equipment and furnishings such as INR tester and test strips, wider patient chairs in exam rooms, back-up generator, automated blood pressure machines, stethoscopes, forehead thermometers, transport chair, new furnishings such as office chairs, and a medical refrigerator.
The Medical Recruitment and Retention Fund offers substantial financial and other support to recruit and retain doctors that meet the unique needs of each new and existing doctor.
